Pass it on…

This might sound a little embarrassing, but I only realised a few years ago that a flame has no shadow. Fire doesn’t cast one because it is a light source itself. Shadows exist only where light is absent.

Light helps us see things clearly, illuminating the path ahead while quietly revealing what has always been there, and even the parts we might rather not see.

For some people, light feels safe and comforting. For others, it can feel confronting. But shadows aren’t necessarily bad; they simply show where light hasn’t reached yet.

And maybe that’s the reminder for us too: we can be the light.

When light is present, shadows don’t need to be chased away; they fade on their own.

No flame is too small to matter. Even the quietest light can bring comfort or hope to someone else.

And the best part?

When you share your light, you don’t lose it - you only pass it on.

Let’s step into the new year with light and hope.

Happy New Year. 🥳
