About pockets&pieces

pockets&pieces started as a quiet place to make sense of things.

Not the big, obvious moments—but the smaller ones that are harder to explain.
The in-between thoughts. The lingering feelings. The things that stay.

I began writing because I needed somewhere to put these pieces.
Over time, I realised they weren’t just mine.

What pieces await?

Pieces of Me is a collection of reflections.

The small surprises, lessons, and unexpected fragments that slip into our days, quietly shaping who we are becoming.

They’re written for moments when:

  • you feel stuck but can’t explain why

  • you’re carrying something you haven’t named yet

  • you just need something that feels honest

If something here feels like it was written for you, that’s probably why.

  • Inspired by the quiet mystery of the Mona Lisa, Mondays are a pause.

A space to slow down, notice more closely, and sit with the quiet lessons hidden in everyday life

  • Midweek reflections shaped by curiosity and quiet attention.

This is a space for slowing down long enough to notice what sits beneath the surface of everyday life—thoughts, patterns, and questions that often go unspoken but are always present.

    Not answers, but awareness.

  • Honest reflections without softening the edges.

This is where thoughts are left as they are—unpolished, direct, sometimes uncomfortable—but grounded in truth rather than polish.

Not everything needs reframing. Some things just need to be said clearly.

  • A gentle closing to the week.

This is a space to notice what has been steady, simple, and quietly sustaining—small moments that often go unseen when life moves quickly.

Not celebration for the sake of positivity, but recognition of what was already enough.
