The Man in the Mirror

Most of us know this song The Main in the Mirror by Michael Jackson pretty well. In fact, chances are the tune is already playing in your head.

When things don’t go our way, it’s often easier to point fingers at family, friends, colleagues, management, or even figures made famous by the media.

Looking outward if convenient. Looking inward takes courage.
But real change has always started from within.

The sad truth is this: it’s often easier to change ourselves than to change others. But that doesn’t mean giving up, nor does it mean compromising our values or beliefs. It means choosing to remain grounded in truth and staying true to who we are while taking responsibility for what we can change.

Instead of complaining or blaming, perhaps we can pause and ask ourselves:

What can I do to make the world a better place?

Change isn’t always easy. It can be uncomfortable and slow. Yet it’s worth attempting. Maybe this is a season of growth, reflection, or quiet transformation for you.

When we take time to examine ourselves, we grow not just wiser, but a bigger and better version of ourselves. More grounded. More aware. More compassionate.

Start small.
Start with yourself.
Start the spark.
